Admission to Stamford Hill Primary School is regulated by Haringey and subject to their admissions policy.
Please note: if your child is currently attending our nursery, they will not automatically continue into the reception year at the school – you must apply for a reception place.
Nursery children are not guaranteed a place in Reception. A separate application form must be completed and places are allocated by Haringey Council in accordance with Haringey’s Admission Policy. Please visit Haringey School Admissions for further details. We strongly recommend that you apply online for a school place (external website). You can access the internet for free at any Haringey library and you can change your application at any point up until the closing date.
If you live outside Haringey you can still apply for schools in Haringey but you must list them on the form of your own local authority.
If your child was born on or between 1 September 2013 and 31 August 2014, they are at the age where they must be in primary education.
If your child lives in Haringey and does not currently have a school place, or if you wish to transfer them to a different school, please apply for a school place via the following link: Haringey in-year admissions.
Alternatively you can call 020 8489 1000 to have a copy posted to you, or collect the form from either Wood Green Library and Customer Services, 187-197A High Road, London, N22 6XD, or South Tottenham Customer Service Centre, Marcus Garvey Centre, Library and Customer Services, Tottenham Green Pools and Fitness, 1 Phillip Lane, Tottenham, N15 4JA
Priority is established according to the current admissions criteria, but the majority of places are filled by those who already have a sibling in the school or live in close proximity.
We have one form of entry from reception to year 6. Entry to classes in the school (30 per class) is dependent upon the availability of places.
